Final Major Project, HND Photography

Distressing Damsels: This work is about female repesrentation and going against female stereotypes. this project is an entirley new concept for me, as i want to explore the different aspects of photography, going further into theory and producing more elaborate photo shoots. for this assignment i started eploring female representation, and strong female figures throughout the history of art and photography. I looked at my own upbringing and the woman that i have become and my personal views and beliefs.

These images will be displayed at the end of year exhibition at West Kent College 30th-4th june 2009.

 

Documentary Narrative

These images explore traces of everyday life and proof of our existence. i feel that this series acts as sort of an abstract version of a day in the life of, as it follows different activities that have occured throughout my day.
